My name is Sarah, and I am a Korean-American gal living in Portland, Oregon with my dog Timone. I have a B.S. in Psychology and am currently in my first year of a combined Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine and M.S. in Oriental Medicine program. I am passionate about mental health, intersectional feminism, and social justice. I hope to become a healer, teacher, and advocate for those struggling with mental illness and health inequity.
I write about my personal experiences with trauma, anxiety, and all that is in between. I am continuing to learn how to support my mental health and healing through natural, holistic, and integrative approaches to self-care. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking Korean food, collecting houseplants, being out in nature, dabbling in skincare, and smothering my dog with love.
“I will not give up the flowers in my heart for stones just because the world is a hard place. The world is only hard because it needs more flower hearted people.” – Nikita Gill
